Our Associate Minister/Minister of Congregational Care, Rev. Winner Laws, is also a proud graduate of Brite Divinity School. Rev. Laws is currently pursuing her Doctor of Ministry in Womanist Preaching at Memphis Theological Seminary. Her writings have been included in: "Our Witness: The Unheard Stories of LGBT+ Christians" (2018)  and "The Gathering - A Womanist Church: Origins, Stories, Sermons, and Litanies"

Reverend Winner A. Laws is spiritually called to let ALL people know that God loves them unconditionally as a Womanist pastor. She also serves as the Congregational Care and Spiritual Support Minister at The Gathering – A Womanist Church – Disciples of Christ in Dallas, TX. Initially she started her career at an Information Technology company 37 years ago and now she holds a Senior Project Manager position at the same company.
